The exchange did go through in the end, but it took longer than I expected. I’m careful about what I spend, so when something doesn’t work out, I really appreciate a quick and easy return process. It wasn’t terrible, just slower than I would’ve liked

It’s not perfect or anything, but it’s held up good so far. I’ve been using it for a bit and, yeah, it’s lasted better than I expected.

I ordered a couple tops and a pair of riding pants from Back In The Saddle, and the fit was right for me. I’m kind of between sizes most of the time, so I looked at the size chart and just went up one because that usually feels safer, even though sometimes that makes things too big. This time it worked. The pants weren’t tight around the waist, and the shirts had some room without looking all sloppy or baggy. For buying clothes online, I’d call that a win.

I don’t mind getting emails here and there, but the catalogs have been showing up way more often than I expected. It starts to feel less like helpful info and more like that polished marketing stuff companies say they’re sending because it’s “personalized” or whatever. I’d rather they cut back.

I came across some really cute horse-themed gifts that I haven’t seen everywhere else!!! Shipping was totally fine, and everything showed up looking great!!! Such a fun little find!!!

I ordered a couple of things from backinthesaddle.com, the items themselves were fine, which was a relief. I was excited when the package showed up, but that excitement faded fast when I saw the box was kind of crushed and barely taped shut.
One of the items didn’t have any padding around it at all, so it had clearly been bouncing around inside. Thankfully nothing was completely broken, but I went from relieved to annoyed quickly. For what I paid, I really expected the order to be packed with more care.

I picked up a couple of gifts here for my sister who rides horses, and she loved them. They have a lot of cute horse-themed stuff that doesn’t feel cheesy or boring, which was a nice surprise. Shipping was totally fine too. Just a warning though, if you’re shopping for a horse person, you might end up finding way more than you planned to buy. I’d definitely order again.

I really wanted to like Back in the Saddle, and I do find a lot of cute stuff on there. But every time I click on something I actually want, it’s either totally out of stock or they only have some random size left that would never work for me. It kind of reminds me of going to the fridge excited for leftovers and realizing someone already ate them, which is weirdly upsetting.
I get that popular things sell out, and maybe that’s just how it goes, but it’s frustrating when it happens over and over. The site itself is fine and easy enough to browse, I just wish the stock was kept up better or updated more clearly so I’m not getting my hopes up for nothing.
